And the winners are... The first-ever “got breakfast?” essay contest is now complete! Thousands of entries from across the country came in for the first national “got breakfast?” essay contest. Students were asked to creatively describe the benefits of eating a nutritious breakfast. Judges selected 4 winners (see below) who each received a brand new Dell laptop and a week’s worth of Breakfast Breaks for their entire school! Plus, Senator George McGovern, a partner in the “got breakfast?” Foundation and a leader in the fight against hunger, called the 4 winners to congratulate them on their winning essays. In addition, the winners participated in their very own photo shoot so that they could become the new faces of the 2007 “got breakfast?” posters which will be distributed to schools everywhere.
